Group 2-Developing a Character

What were you thinking when you had to make choices on how to portray your character? Did you think about: What is my character’s voice? How do I walk? How do I speak? What words do I choose? What costume does my character wear? Elaborate on your acting process in this exercise and the challenges you had to face in this performance.

  2. To portray my character was very much easy, i didn't have to think about it much because i knew exactly what to do.when i was in high school i use to hang out with those type of kids, who used to act that way, so i have an idea of how they talk ,walk and what they wear.for me to portray them wasn't much challenge to me at all.but in general the whole acting process was fantastic.i love it...............

  3. Right of the bat I portrayed my nerd character wearing thick black glasses, faded short jeans with a superman shirt. I imagined his voice been high pitch tone and who walk like a nerd. The few challenges that we had were actually more fun rather than a challenge, we put all our ideas together and at the end everything just fell in place....

  4. When portraying my charcter I just thought about the most famous nerd I could think of, and that was Steve Urkel. So I imataited his laugh and tried to bring out his high pitch voice. The biggest challange throughout the play I would say was trying to keep a serious face throughout the play because everyone perform their part so well it was hard not to laugh
