After viewing the documentary on Tennessee William’s life, identify at least three things in the play “The Glass Menagerie” that are similar to his real life at home.
Some of the things that are similar to Tennessee Williams life and real home were that:Both their fathers were absent in the play, both their sisters had problems and both their mothers were controlling!

Well in the documentary on Tennessee Williams three things that are similar that they both had a sister with low self-esteem and mental conditions. And they mom are little psycho and both father loved shoe because they worked in the factory.

Both Tom and Tennessee father was not present much in their lives, the similarity of Tom's sister nick name " Blue Roses" and Tennessee's sister's name was Rose. Lastly Both had mothers that were controlling but did it because she actually loved her kids.

similarity is that both family had tons of problems, the father was not there for him. His relation to his father was horrible. sister was mentally ill and he use a form of escape to run away from his stress from both the movie and his life.

Tom and his father working at the factory, his mentally ill sister, and controlling mom are three reality in coming from the book.
